Old Lyme Board of Selectmen
Special Meeting: Thursday, August 12, 2010

The Board of Selectmen held a special meeting at 11:30 AM on Thursday, August 12, 2010 in the First Selectman’s Office in the Old Lyme Memorial Town Hall. First Selectman Timothy Griswold was present and Selectman Skip Sibley and Selectwoman Bonnie Reemsnyder were present by telephone.

1.  Historic District Commission Grant Application
The Board of Selectmen wanted more information concerning the Historic District Commission grant application.  First Selectman Griswold learned that the Commission has applied for a $2,500 grant through the CT Commission on Culture and Tourism which will fund research on about 25 historic houses in Old Lyme.  The Commission would pay for the work to be performed and then be reimbursed by the grant.

Selectman Sibley moved to approve the following motion and Selectwoman Reemsnyder seconded the motion:

That Timothy C. Griswold, First Selectman, is authorized to make, execute and approve on behalf of the Town of Old Lyme any and all contracts and amendments and to execute and approve on behalf of this municipality other instruments as part or incident to such contracts and amendments, effective until otherwise ordered by the Board of Selectmen.

SO VOTED

2.  Adjournment
Selectwoman Reemsnyder made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:40 PM., seconded by Selectman Sibley.  SO VOTED.
